Sea of Dreams (2005)

Interactive installation with L.Spoelstra, Festival "Sea of Dreams", Stadshal, Den Helder (NL)

Visitors are invited to write a dream on a piece of paper. The paper is then folded into a small boat and placed in a water basin. A video portrait is made of the "dreamer" who thinks of his dream with his eyes closed. On the last day of the exhibition, all the dream boats are collected and launched into the sea from a tugboat off the coast of Den Helder.
